Makes 6 - 8 servings
Chicken:
3/4 cup flour
1-1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 pounds chicken drummettes
Vegetable oil
Sauce:
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1/2 cup Jack Daniel's Whiskey
1/4 cup ketsup
1/3 cup Tabasco pepper sauce or to taste.
1. Combine flour, salt, and pepper in small bowl. Coat chicken pieces with flour mixture.
2. Heat 2-3 inches of oil in fryer or heavy pan to 375 degrees. Fry wings, a few at a time,
until golden crown on all sides and cooked through, about 10-15 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
3. Combine all sauve ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Dip cooked wings in sauce.
Serve with blue cheese dresing.
You may also bake wings. Place in roasting pan. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with salt & pepper.
Bake at 450 degree oven until lightly browned and cooked throughly, about 30 minutes.
