Makes 4 servings
2 pounds beef tenderloin tips, sliced
1/2 stick butter
salt for seasoning
1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/4 cup onions, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup dry red wine
1/2 cup Jack Daniel's
1 cup canned tomatoes, crushed
2 teaspoons sugar
1. Melt butter in large heavy skillet. Cook meat quickly until browned. Season with salt.
2. Stir in mushrooms, onion and garlec. Simmer for several minutes.
3. Stir in wine, Jack Daniel's, tomatoes and sugar. Simmer for 30 minutes or until tender.
Serve with mashed potatoes, and something green (green beans; peas, etc) for a complete meal. ENJOY!!
