1 16 oz can crushed pineapple
1 21 oz can cherry pie filling
1 Devil Food cake mix
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup butter, melted
Whipped Topping (optional)
Vanilla Ice Cream (optional)
Drain pineapple and reserve liquid. Spread drained pineapple in a lightly greased 13x9 in glass pan.
Spread cherry pie filling evenly over pineapple. Sprinkle dry cake mix on pie filling. Top with chopped pecans.
Combine melted butter and reserved pineapple juice, stir together. Drizzle over mixture in pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
Cut in squares and top with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
