1 cup chopped green pepper
1 cup finely chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
3 stripes of bacon, chopped in small pieces
2 tablespoon melted butter or margarine
4 cups coarsely shredded cabbage
1 (16 oz) can tomaotes, undrained and chipped
2 teaspoon beef bouillon granules or 2 cubes
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
*Saute bacon pieces, green pepper, celery and onion in butter in large skillet
*Add remaining ingredients and cover
*Cook over medium heat 12-15 minutes until cabbage is tender but not mushy
*Yield 6 servings
