Any bread that is getting old or dried out, but the thicker the better. I like to use leftover hamburger and hot dog buns.
Butter
garlic
parsley (dried)
melt butter and mix garlic powder and parsley into butter. Dip tops of bread into mixture and then put on a cookie sheet.
Bake in oven at 150 degrees for a couple hours until bread is dried and top starts to turn slightly golden brown.
Cool and then break into pieces, but not too small. My average size is about the size of half of one side of a hotdog bun.
I serve them on the side with salads. People can use them to push their salad and take a bite. Store in airtight container or ziplock bag.
