1 cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoon Worchestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon cajun seasoning
1/8 teaspoon paprika
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 lb ring of smoked sausage diced into 1/4 inch thick pieces
4 green onion (approximately 1/4 cup) diced
1 loaf French baguette bread or Bread for French toast, sliced into 1/2 inch thick rounds.
Heat oven to 400 degrees. In medium bowl, mix first 4 ingredients. Stir in cheese, diced sausage and green onions.
Spread 3 tablespoons of mixture on each bread slice
Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 10 minutes. Garnish with additional green onions if desired. Serve hot.
