POSTED FOR ROYOSFAN WITH REMARKS BY HER:
When I lived in Lake Oswego, OR, it was a newly built neighborhood. New houses were being finished and sold daily.
A neighbor of mine started this tradition - she brought me this cake when I moved in with the recipe.
I had to bake one for another new neighbor and take it over with the recipe. It was fun and we all got to know one-another.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

#1
1 package yellow cake mix
1 small box instant vanilla pudding
1/2 cup cooking oil
1 cup sour cream
#2
1 cup chopped nuts
3/4 cup brown sugar
3 teaspoons cinnamon
Mix all of #1 - plus the eggs and water called for in the cake mix; on low speed of electric mixture for 5 minutes.
Grease bundt pan.
Mix all of #2 together.
Pour 1/2 of batter from #1 into pan. Sprinkle 1/2 of #2 mixture over batter. Marble with knife
(this means drag a dinner knife - not a sharp knife - through the batter, gently mixing the #2 mix through batter.
Don't stir, just gently mix
Repeat layers of batter and #2 mix.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes I usually bake mine for about 55 minutes.
Bake two. One for you and one for a nice neighbor. Makes a great brunch cake.
