This makes a really fancy yet easy fruit salad for special dinners and to take for a potluck dinner.
2 (3oz) grape jello
1 can blueberry pie filling
1 20 oz can crushed pineapple, drained
2 cups boiling water
TOPPING:
1 8 oz cream cheese
1/2 pint sour cream
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions:
Mix boiling water and jello. Add pineapple and blueberry pie filling; mix well.
Put in refrigerator until jelled.
Topping:
Mix softened cream cheese, sour cream, sugar and vanilla and mix well.
Spread on top of set jello. sprinkle with chopped pecans.
Return to refrigerator until ready to serve. Cut into slices and serve plain or on a leaf of lettuce.
