You may use canned or homemade refried beans for this.
On the bottom of a 9" or 10" pie plate spread a layer of refried beans.
Mash two avacados, add picante sauce, salt & pepper.
1 pint sour cream with one envelope of taco seasoning added into it.
2 types of shredded cheese (we use cheddar and monterrey jack)
chopped tomatos
chopped green onions
sliced olives
salsa/picante sauce
jalapenos and/or green chilies
Layer ingredients starting with beans on the bottom of pie plate and in the order
given above ending with chilies on top.
Heat beans before we spread them in the pie plate,
and add the other ingredients on top and serve immediately, if you want a hot dip.
