1 8oz package of cream cheese
powdered sugar
1 teaspoon butter
1 teaspoon of vanilla OR 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract ( I like the almond better)
3 jars of cherries with stems
1 package chocolate chips
1/2 bar paraffin wax
Mix softened cream cheese with butter, extract and enough powdered sugar to be able
to form balls. Form each ball and the flatten out. Put one cherry with stem on top of
each flatten ball and then form dough around cherry, leaving the stem sticking out.
Put in frig. for an hour until completely cold. Melt chocolate and wax in double boiler.
These are best eaten at least 12 hours later so the cherry has time to bleed the juice
and make them juicer.
