POSTED FOR ROYOSFAN
This does have liquor, so if you don't drink alcohol, stay away from this one!!
One dozen eggs (separated)
1 Quart Bourbon ( really good quality)
Six ounces Dark Rum - (really good quality)
Two cups sugar
Two quarts whole milk (64 ounces)
One Pint Heavy Whipping Cream
You need a HUGE bowl to put all of this into.
Beat egg yolks. Add bourbon and rum VERY SLOWLY while beating constantly.
Add sugar and milk to mixture while beating.
Beat egg whites until slightly stiff. By hand, fold into yolk mixture.
Beat heavy whipping cream until creamy (if you over beat this it will turn
into butter, so stop beating when whipping cream is double in volume and fluffy.)
By hand, fold the heavy whipping cream into the other mixture.
Cover and place in refrigerator overnight, or at least for several hours
if you can't wait overnight. To serve, use a large ladle to stir up in a folding motion before serving.
Always remember what Mark Twain said:
"Too much of anything is bad, but too much whiskey is just enough."
DRINK RESPONSIBLY!!!!!!!!!!! ENJOY!!
