1 pound finely ground lean beef
6 eggs, separated
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons minced parsley
1/2 onion, grated
Beat the egg yolks and combine with the beef, baking powder, salt, pepper,
lemon juice, parsley and onion.
Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold into the meat mixture.
Drop by spoonfuls onto a hot oiled or buttered fry pan.
When puffed and brown aruond he edges, turn and brown on other side.
Serves 6
This is a great Hors D' Oeuvres with barbeque sauce or other sauces.
