THIS IS A VERY GOOD, BUT VERY RICH DESSERT.

1/2 cup hot fudge ice cream topping
1 tub cool whip, divided
1 sm. package, of chocolate instant pie filling
8 Oreo cookies with filling removed, chopped
12 ice cream sandwiches

Put hot fudge in a medium bowl, heating if too thick. Add 1 cup of cool whip and stir to blend well. Add pudding mix and mix for 2 minutes. Gently fold in chopped cookies.

Lay out 24 inches of foil.
Lay 4 sandwiches side by side on the foil.
Spread half the pudding mixture on the sandwiches. Follow with another 4 sandwiches and the rest of the pudding mixture. Then lay the last 4 sandwiches on the top and cover the entire sides and top of
the cake with 1 to 1 1/2 cups of cool whip to cover sides and top. Bring the foil up and roll on top without touching the top and fold in the sides the same way. Put in the freezer for at least 4 hours
or longer. Slice with every sharp knife and enjoy. This is such a rich cake that I spilt each serving in half so people don't waste it.
They can always have seconds.
Will last in freezer for 1 week.
